Literacy Volunteers of Lee County (LVLC) is a nonprofit agency that provides adult literacy programs through trained volunteers in Lee County, Florida. Our adult students want to learn to read and write, or they are speakers of other languages and wish to learn English.

Our service area is Lee County, except for Bonita Springs.

To become an adult student, contact the LVLC Office and we will schedule an appointment for you so that we can assess your level of English literacy. This assessment will take about 45 minutes. There is a one time fee of $25.00 for the assessment. There will be no other charges. Assessments may be scheduled Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

To become a tutor of adult students, contact the LVLC Office so that we can send you a registration packet. Tutor training workshops are held monthly and cost $30.00 to cover the cost of the materials.
