Literacy Volunteers and Literacy Council of Bonita Springs join to become: Literacy Council Gulf Coast

Literacy Volunteers of Lee County (LVLC) is a nonprofit agency that provides adult literacy programs through trained volunteers in Lee County, Florida. Our adult students want to learn to read and write, or they are speakers of other languages and wish to learn English.

To become an adult student, contact the LVLC Office and we will schedule an appointment for you so that we can assess your level of English literacy. This assessment will take about 45 minutes.

To become a tutor of adult students, contact the LVLC Office so that we can send you a registration packet. Tutor training workshops are held monthly and we request $30.00 to cover the cost of the materials.

There are also new financial literacy classes that are being offered by Literacy Volunteers of Lee County. This new financial literacy program is for adult students to develop the skills and knowledge to help them successfully manage their money.
